Life in a bottle of olive oil
There is something deeply satisfying about producing something tangible. Olive oil is not simply a product sitting in a bottle. Behind every bottle there is land, weather, trees, harvests, disappointment, anticipation, work and a family story.
Our brand has become part of that story.
I have dealt with shops, buyers, transport companies, packaging, labels, regulations, websites and customers. I have learned things I never expected I would need to know. I have had to negotiate, solve problems and keep going when apparently simple things became surprisingly complicated.
There have been years when nature has made the decisions for us.
That is one of the things farming has taught me: you can plan, but you cannot control everything.
You plant the trees. You care for them. You wait. You hope for the right weather. And then you accept what the season gives you.
Perhaps Life is rather like that.
